re:mount Group, which has quickly become one of Finland’s largest renovation construction companies, buys PC-Saneeraus in Helsinki. The acquisition expands the group’s operations to renovate offices in addition to apartments.
re:mount was founded in 2022 by merging Renevo, which focuses on repairs for rental housing companies, and Remonttipartio, an expert in line renovations for housing companies. Turku-based Laxal joined the group in June 2023. Now Helsinki-based PC-Saneeraus brings business and office space renovation in the capital region as a new service area. With the acquisition, the group’s turnover will rise to more than 100 million euros.
The acquisition follows our strategy of buying selected companies in different sectors of renovation construction. PC-Saneeraus is a renowned contractor of commercial properties in the inner city of Helsinki, with the ability to implement projects according to the needs of customers. The company has a strong team and committed management, so we see a lot of development opportunities together, says re:mount Group CEO Iisakki Koski.
PC-Saneeraus is known as a versatile repair and premises contractor that serves leading property owners. During 25 years, the company has renovated numerous offices, commercial apartments, restaurants and gyms.
“Inner city properties remain in demand and we know them. Our experienced team implements demanding projects professionally together with our credit partners. At the moment, the real estate market in the city center is in a transition phase, and many properties are being renovated down to the basic structures in order to strengthen competitiveness”, PC-Saneeraus CEO Jenni Sani says.
“You have to be efficient in the best addresses in the kingdom. Property owners want to make the changes faster so that steady rental income continues. Our strength is knowing the right contract models and implementing them in the optimal time. It requires strong project expertise and the ability to react and withstand stress” Jenni Sani continues.
PC-Saneeraus will become a subsidiary of re:mount, which will bring office space and commercial real estate know-how to the group. The group offers it support for purposeful growth and operational development.
“re:mount’s entrepreneurial and ambitious attitude suits us very well. We want to be the most sought-after provider of business space renovation in the capital region” Jenni Sani summarizes.
After the acquisition, Jenni Sani continues to lead PC-Saneeraus and joins re:mount as a partner. The company’s founder Petri Colliander will stay out of the day-to-day operations, but will also join the group as a shareholder.
