Sponsor Capital Invests in Aminopörssi

Sponsor Capital has invested in Aminopörssi, one of Finland’s fastest-growing retailers of sports nutrition, supplements, training equipment and apparel.

Founded in 2009, Aminopörssi serves customers through its nationwide e-commerce platform and its physical store in Helsinki. The company has built a strong market position through a broad product offering, exclusive international brands and its own product lines, including Nutri Works, one of Finland’s most extensive sports nutrition brands.

Sponsor Capital is one of Finland’s most established private equity investors, with private equity operations dating back to 1997. The firm focuses on partnering with Finnish companies with strong market positions and clear growth potential, working closely with entrepreneurs and management teams to accelerate growth and build long-term value. Sponsor Capital currently manages approximately €633 million in assets and has completed more than 40 investments.

Through the transaction, Sponsor Capital becomes an owner of Aminopörssi and will support the company in its next phase of development. Founder and CEO Anton Kiuttu will continue to lead the business and remain a significant shareholder, ensuring continuity while bringing additional resources and expertise to accelerate the company’s growth.

Following the transaction, Aminopörssi will continue to operate as an independent company within the same group as Sinunapteekki, a Finnish e-commerce company focused on health and wellness products. The combination creates a strong platform for further development while Aminopörssi continues to operate under its existing brand and business model.
