Lease Deal Group Oyj established Cloud Group Oy in July 2024 to build a software ecosystem serving labour-intensive industries.
Cloud Group is a Finnish, fast-growing software group driven by a strong passion to solve real business problems through technology. The company acquires and develops Finnish software companies while providing capital, growth support and product development resources to help them serve their customers even better.
Cloud Group completed its first acquisition immediately upon its establishment by acquiring Silmu Software Oy, a long-standing Finnish software company. Silmu Software serves approximately 300 customers using its solutions for workforce management and fleet management. Since the acquisition, the number of customers has already grown to more than 400, with the average customer size increasing significantly.
Investment in product development
During the past year, Cloud Group has made substantial investments in product development. The company has developed entirely new software modules while also expanding the functionalities of its existing services.
The main focus of product development has been on improving usability, increasing automation, and delivering industry-specific solutions that enhance customers’ operational efficiency. Cloud Group’s product development team continues to build new innovations that strengthen the group’s competitiveness and expand its market share.
Growth and recruitment
Over the past months, Cloud Group has recruited new specialists across different business areas, and the number of employees is expected to grow significantly in the future. The company’s strategy is to strengthen both its product development and customer service organizations to support a rapidly expanding customer base.
Objectives
Cloud Group’s medium-term objective is to exceed 1,000 customers. In the long term, the company aims to establish itself as the leading fully Finnish privately owned software group.
