The Deal
No Dig Alliance (NDA), a group backed by Ambienta and specialized in trenchless underground pipe installation and rehabilitation, has acquired Finnish water infrastructure company Suomen Putkisto Palvelu Oy (SPP).
SPP employs approximately 30 professionals and specializes in manhole rehabilitation, underground water pipeline services, and advanced lining solutions for stormwater and wastewater basins. The company serves municipalities, utilities, and private sector clients across Finland.
The acquisition strengthens No Dig Alliance’s position in the approximately EUR 3 billion Nordic underground infrastructure market. The transaction forms part of NDA’s ongoing buy-and-build strategy aimed at consolidating the fragmented market and expanding the group’s capabilities to deliver measurable environmental impact.
SPP enhances NDA’s expertise in lower-emission pipe services and provides highly complementary technical capabilities that support Ambienta’s sustainability strategy of reducing water leakage and emissions through trenchless technologies.
