Sponsor Capital Acquires Velox Majority

Mergero acted as M&A advisor in the transaction in which Finnish private equity firm Sponsor Capital became the majority shareholder of Velox on 6 October 2026.
The partnership marks a new phase in Velox’s development, with a focus on accelerating growth, expanding its service offering and pursuing strategic acquisitions.

Velox is a Finnish provider of comprehensive marketing logistics and sales promotion solutions, combining proprietary technology with an established operating model.
The company helps its customers streamline the management, distribution and utilisation of marketing and sales materials through cost-efficient, technology-driven services.

With Sponsor Capital as its new majority shareholder, Velox is well positioned to accelerate its next phase of growth. The partnership will support the continued development of the company’s proprietary technology and digital service platform, while creating opportunities for both organic expansion and strategic acquisitions in Finland and internationally.
