The Deal

Mäkelän Sähkö Oy, which has been operating for more than 80 years, and Lahti LVI-talo Oy, which has been operating for almost 20 years, merged into the Mäsätech Group at the end of April.

With the merger, the new Mäsätech Group will have a turnover of more than EUR 16 million and employ almost one hundred HVAC and electrical engineering professionals.

In addition to Päijät-Häme, the company’s operations are expanding to Uusimaa, Southeast Finland, Savo and Pirkanmaa. During the summer, the companies’ operations will be concentrated in common premises on Hämeenlinnantie in Lahti.

Sami Lari is the CEO of Mäsätech and Mäkelä Electricity. Pasi Nyman will continue as the CEO of Lahti HVAC House and Pekka Loponen will be responsible for IV services.
